Worldwide Aeros has received US certification for its Aeros 40B five-seat airship. The 2,500m³ (88,000ft³) craft, now available for lease through Catsworth, California-based operating division Aeros Airship, is powered by two 90kW (120hp) Teledyne Continental IO-240 piston engines and features pneumatic flight controls. Aeros has previously produced tethered aerostats and is working on larger tourist and heavylift airships.
