The US Federal Aviation Administration has certificated GA Telesis to provide MRO services for Boeing 737NG landing gear.
Work will be carried out at its Miami facility, says GA Telesis, which will “make a substantial investment” to grow its MRO business.
“[GA Telesis] will invest in the latest equipment, tooling, and plating technologies available for current and future generation aircraft models,” it adds.
The company began landing gear overhaul services in 2019, and now works on regional aircraft.
“This additional certification paves the way for the Company to fulfill its strategic plan to increase its product offerings from regional to narrow-body aircraft for 2020,” says Pastor Lopez, president, MRO Services at GA Telesis.
