Air Berlin is to terminate all long-haul flights from the German capital and discontinue an Orlando service from Dusseldorf.
Flights from Berlin Tegel to New York and Miami will end on 25 September, says the Oneworld carrier.
It had already, in late August, revealed its intention to stop its other long-haul flights from Berlin – to Abu Dhabi, Chicago Los Angeles and San Francisco – on 1 October.
Flights from Dusseldorf to Orlando will cease on 25 September.
Air Berlin says the network has been reduced to eliminate "loss-making routes" and "stabilise the operational situation" at Tegel.
