Air Canada has selected Israel Aerospace Industries’ MRO division Bedek Aviation Group for Boeing 767 maintenance.
The airline has signed a five-year contract covering heavy checks for its 767 fleet at Bedek’s facilities at Ben Gurion International airport in Tel Aviv.
Bedek’s wide experience – which also spans cargo conversions – was the main reason for Air Canada’s supplier selection, says Eli Hattem, executive vice-president and general manager of Bedek.
