Air Canada has sold its NWT Air regional subsidiary which provides passenger and cargo services to Northern Canada. The regional carrier has been acquired by First Air, another operator in the region. The operations will eventually be combined, although initially it will continue to operate under the NWT banner. Air Canada adds that it plans to expand its commercial links with First Air.
