Hollis Harris, chairman, president and chief executive of Air Canada, has announced changes to the carrier's executive management in anticipation of Lamar Durrett becoming president and chief executive on 14 May. Jean Jacques Bourgeault, formerly executive vice-president and chief operating officer, becomes senior executive vice-president, with responsibility for key corporate functions, as well as for liaison with Air Canada's regional airlines. Robert Milton, senior vice-president for marketing and in- flight service, is appointed executive vice-president and chief operating officer, responsible for operations, sales, marketing and commercial strategy.
