Air Caraibes has transformed its long-standing commitment to the Airbus A350-1000 into a firm order for three of the type.
The airframer confirms that the carrier has firmed a deal for the type, six years after it originally said it would take the jets.
Air Caraibes is also leasing three A350-900s from lessor ILFC.
Its A350-1000s will be configured with 439 seats, in three classes, while the smaller -900s will have 387 seats.
Air Caraibes will operate the jets between Paris and the Caribbean region destinations of Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Marteen, Haïti, Saint-Domingue and French Guyana.
