China Xinjiang Airlines has taken delivery of the country's first Aero International (Regional) ATR turboprop, one of five of the new ATR 72-210As ordered in May. The 72-seat aircraft will be used within the province of Xinjiang and will be operated from the airline's base at Urumqi to tourist towns such as Asku and Hotan. The airline will take delivery of the remaining four aircraft over the next 12 months.
