Air France-KLM is yet to decide whether to take two Airbus A380s scheduled for handover in 2016.
The SkyTeam carrier last year deferred delivery of the aircraft from 2014 to 2016.
"We are still in the process of thinking what we are doing with these two A380s," chief executive Alexandre de Juniac said today, during a briefing on third-quarter results. "We will discuss with Airbus the opportunity to take them or to replace [them] – it is not done yet, at all."
He adds: "There is no emergency, for these two aircraft."
De Juniac confirms that Air France-KLM has no plans, as yet, to order the Boeing 777X. "We still have some years to think about it," he says, noting that the airline has 25 A350s and 25 787s on order, and holds options for 25 more of each.
