The new French government has declared its intention to sell part of its 54.4% stake in Air France "when market conditions permit". The share sale, which follows the airline's initial public offering in 1999, could see the state lowering its holding in the carrier to below 20%. Meanwhile, Air France and Aeroflot have agreed to codeshare on services between Paris and Moscow from 1 October.
