Air Greenland's newly delivered Airbus A330-200 is operating services from Copenhagen to Søndre Strømfjord (Kangerlussuaq). The 229-seat, Pratt & Whitney PW4000-powered aircraft, which was previously operated by Sabena, is on a five-year lease and will replace a Boeing 757-200. It will enable the Greenland carrier to boost capacity on Greenland-Copenhagen services. Scandinavian Airlines, which operates a Boeing 767-300ER from Copenhagen three times a week, is to withdraw from the route, leaving Air Greenland as the sole operator.
