US lessor Air Lease has firmed orders for 14 Boeing 737-800s and five 777-300ERs placed at the Paris air show in June.
The orders were previously listed on Boeing's order tally as originating from an unidentified customer.
Air Lease has also taken options on four additional -800s.
Recently Air Lease chief executive Steven Udvar-Hazy offered a cool reception to plans by Boeing to re-engine the 737, questioning how competitive the aircraft would be against the Airbus A320neo.
