South Africa's Air Link is introducing three BAe 146-200s on lease from the manufacturer. The first aircraft is set for delivery this month, with the other two following in May. The airline says that one of the 89-seaters will replace a wet-leased Boeing 737-200, another will operate as a back-up and the third will replace Embraer ERJ-135 capacity in existing markets. Two of the 146s are ex-Flybe jets and the other is an ex-CityJet aircraft.
