Air Namibia has expanded its maintenance co-operation with Lufthansa Technik.
The airline’s contract with the German MRO group covers component support, engineering services and line maintenance for two Airbus A330s. The deal is valid until 2018.
In addition, LHT will also provide technical support for the return of two A340s to their lessors, says the maintenance provider.
Air Namibia’s active passenger fleet comprises four A319 narrowbodies, two A330-200 widebodies and four Embraer ERJ-135 regional jets, Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database shows.
LHT has been an MRO partner to the carrier since 2006.
