Fiji's Government and Qantas Airways are providing a F$40 million ($18 million) credit facility to Air Pacific to help keep the struggling national carrier afloat. Fiji's Cabinet endorsed a F$21.6 million guarantee on the F$40 million "stand-by" facility in February. Qantas will provide a guarantee, based on its 46% shareholding.
