Fiji’s flag carrier Air Pacific blames its lacklustre results on fuel costs and low-cost rivalry from Australia’s Pacific Blue and New Zealand’s Freedom Air. For its financial year to 31 March, Air Pacific’s net profit fell 39%, to F$14.9 million ($8.6 million) from F$24.5 million.
