BAE Systems and EADS completed the legal and tax procedures on 11 July to make the integrated Airbus company a legal entity, incorporated in France as a Société par Action Simplifiée (SAS). A shareholders committee with five EADS appointees and two from BAE is chaired by EADS chief executive Rainer Hertrich while Airbus chief executive Noel Forgeard heads a 10 person executive committee.
