The 11th and 12th are the first two trade days of the show, which runs through Sunday 16 February. The 15th and 16th are public days.
The only time the A350 has appeared at an international air show was when it made a fly-past at the 2013 Paris Air Show.
“I am very pleased to announce that we will bring the A350 XWB to Singapore,” said Fabrice Brégier, Airbus president and chief executive.
“The Asia-Pacific region is the fastest growing market for the air transport industry and will drive future demand for widebody aircraft in all seat categories. The A350 XWB will set new standards in the mid-size category and will consolidate our position as the provider of the world’s most modern, comprehensive and efficient widebody product line.”
Singapore Airlines is a major customer for the A350-900, with firm orders for 70.
