Production Airbus aims to deliver 430 aircraft during 2006 – a 31% increase on last year. The figure should include the first pair of A380s for launch customer Singapore Airlines, says Airbus chief executive Gustav Humbert. Single-aisle production has already reached 30 aircraft a month and is expected to increase to an unprecedented rate of 32 a month next year.
