Safran's Aircelle and Interjet have signed a four-year agreement to support the nacelles and thrust reversers on the Mexican carrier’s Sukhoi Superjet 100s with Powerjet SaM146 engines.
The agreement, announced at the MRO Americas show in Phoenix, provides the carrier with a pool of nacelle components for lease or exchange, including thrust reversers and engine cowls.
Aircelle designs, produces and integrates the nacelles for the SaM146 engines.
“With the largest pool of Superjet 100 nacelle components, combined with our extensive nacelle MRO presence worldwide, we are well positioned to support the growing airlines that fly these aircraft."
Interjet operates six Superjet 100s, with 14 more on order and 10 options.
