Contour Premium Aircraft Seating is launching the Vantage seat – an ingenious business class system configured for individual space – at the show today.

The seat was designed by Thompson Solutions with space in mind, providing a fully-flat two-metre (79in) bed, and with no loss of capacity when compared with a 152cm (60in) angled lie-flat product. With direct aisle access for 90% of passengers, the Vantage seat has been taken up by Delta for its business class offering.

Contour is also exhibiting the latest version of its Venus first class seat, which both maximises living space and delivers a 96.6cm (38in) wide bed. Aura, the company’s highly successful premium first or business class seat is also on the stand. Aura has been selected by seven airlines for Boeing 787 aircraft. The highly flexible product covers a range of pitches; from 152cm (60in) Lazy Z configuration to 188cm (74in) plus with an ottoman when fully lie-flat.

Completing the product portfolio on the stand is the company’s herringbone range - Solar Eclipse and Premiere Solar. With a high level of personal privacy and living space, both can be tailored to the specific needs of the airlines and their customers. The Solar family boasts a 185cm to 190cm (73in to 75in) bed length.
