United Airlines has ordered 20 Airbus A320s and 10 A319s for delivery in 2000-1.
Business Express has ordered 20 Embraer RJ.135s plus 40 options, with deliveries starting in October 1999. SkyWest has ordered 20 EMB.120s plus 40 options, for delivery from March 1998. Trans States has ordered two ERJ.145s.
American Eagle has confirmed 25 firm orders and 25 options for Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-700s with deliveries starting in 2001. Air Littoral has ordered five more CRJ-100s. Atlantic Coast Airlines has converted five options for CRJs into firm orders while Adria Airways and Brit Air have each converted an option for a CRJ into a firm order. Tyrolean Airways and Maersk Air have each ordered two CRJs.
Royal Wings and Rheintalflug have both ordered one de Havilland Dash 8Q-300. Tyrolean Airways has ordered two Dash 8Q-300s and one Dash 8Q-400B.
EuroLot has placed orders for five ATR42-300s with three options. Deliveries are due in June and July.
European Aviation has bought six A300s from Air France and 13 B737-200s from Sabena.
