United Airlines has ordered eight Boeing 767-300s, with four deliveries in 1998, one in 1999 and three in 2000.

Air Canada has ordered five Airbus A330-300s and three A340-300s, plus 20 options, with deliveries starting in October 1999.

Brit Air has ordered two Bombardier RJ 100s, and taken two options, with deliveries by early 1998.

Northwest Airlines has converted 24 previously-held options for RJ85s into firm commitments, with deliveries scheduled to commence in May 1998.

SAS Commuter has converted options for two Saab 2000s into firm orders, with deliveries in early 1998.
