Airbus and Boeing have attracted investigations by competition authorities on both sides of the Atlantic following last year's rises in aircraft list prices. Suspicions that increases were made in tandem are dismissed by both companies. "There appear too many bureaucrats with too much time on their hands," says Airbus commercial director John Leahy.
