Delta Air Lines started code-sharing with Air Jamaica on 6 April on services from Atlanta, Miami and New York to Montego Bay, Kingston, Barbados and St Lucia, and from Atlanta to Boston, Cincinnati, Hartford, Memphis, and San Francisco.

Finnair and Iberia have begun codesharing on Helsinki-Barcelona-Madrid.

Northwest Airlines will begin thrice-weekly flights between Detroit and Nagoya on 2 June.

US Airways launched daily flights between Philadelphia and London/Gatwick and Amsterdam in April, and asked the US government to help it secure Gatwick slots for a planned Charlotte service.

Air France is launching a twice weekly service from Paris/ CDG to Shanghai on 11 May, increasing to three times weekly from September. It also relaunched a twice weekly service to Brazzaville, via N'Djamen, on 6 April and, from mid-June, will commence weekly flights to Havana.

British Airways has started flying three times a week from London/Gatwick to Ljubljana, daily to Trieste, four times a week to Vilnius, twice-weekly to Abidjan, and weekly to Cancun and Tobago. It also launched a daily service from Heathrow to Doha and twice weekly flights from Heathrow to Stavanger. A daily Gatwick-Denver service will begin in June.

GB Airways has launched a daily London/Gatwick-Lisbon service and a five-times weekly service from Gatwick to Palma.

Swissair is set to launch a four times weekly Zurich-Skopje service from 7 June.

SAS has launched a twice-daily flight from Stockholm to London/Stansted. Croatia Airlines is flying to Stansted from Dubrovnik, Pula and Split.

Air Malawi was to begin a weekly B767-200ER flight from Lilongwe to London/Gatwick.

Malmo Aviation was to start a six times weekly service between London/City and Stockholm on 20 April.

Alliance Express launched a daily service from Entebbe to Kigali on 15 March.

Air Namibia and LTU began codesharing on three weekly flights between Frankfurt and Windhoek and on weekly flights between Dusseldorf and Windhoek via Munich.

Emirates launched a twice weekly service between Dubai and Manila on 31 March.

Gulf Air will begin twice weekly flights from Bahrain to Kathmandu from 4 July.

Jet Airways was set to begin a daily service from Mumbai to Rajkot and Bhuj from 7 April.

Lufthansa Cargo has introduced three time-definite products, td.Pro, td.X and td.Flash.

Atlas Air is to operate a sixth B747-200 freighter for China Airlines.
