Air France began codesharing with Delta Air Lines on 19 June between Paris/Charles de Gaulle and New York/John F Kennedy, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington/Dulles, Atlanta, Boston and Cincinnati and between Nice and New York. Air France began codesharing with Continental Airlines on 19 July from Paris/CDG to New York/Newark and Houston and on to 12 other US cities. Air France was due to launch a weekly service between Paris/CDG and Havana on 21 June, increasing to twice-weekly in October. Delta Air Lines and Swissair launched a codeshare between the US and Karachi via Zurich on 4 June. Cathay Pacific and Swissair will begin codesharing between Hong Kong and Zurich from 6 July. KLM and Malaysia Airlines are due to codeshare on daily flights between Kuala Lumpur/KLIA and Amsterdam/Schiphol on 1 July. KLM began codesharing with Alaska Air on flights from Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles on 1 June. The codeshare will extend to Vancouver, pending approval. All Nippon Airways and Lufthansa's codeshare between Tokyo and Frankfurt has been delayed from 1 July until 1 September. Japan Airlines will start a twice-weekly service from Tokyo/Narita to Las Vegas on 2 October. Air Canada and Royal Jordanian Airlines will begin codesharing from Amman, Jordan, to Montreal and Toronto via London/Heathrow on 2 July. Qantas is to launch a weekly service between Brisbane and Bali in mid-August. Debonair Airways is to start codesharing with AB Airlines from London/Gatwick to Lisbon and from Berlin to Luton and Nice on 9 July. American Airlines was due to launch daily flights from London/Gatwick to Boston on 16 June. SAS will launch a daily service between Stockholm and Chicago and a three times daily service from London/Stansted to Copenhagen in October. Jersey European Airways starts a daily service between London/Luton and Belfast on 1 August. EasyJet is set to launch twice-daily flights on the route on 18 September. Gulf Air will start a twice weekly service between Abu Dhabi and Kathmandu on 4 July. Midwest Express Airlines launched a twice weekly service between Omaha and Orlando on 25 June. It will start a four times daily weekday service between Milwaukee and Raleigh-Durham on 2 August and between Kansas City and Raleigh-Durham on 13 September. Jet Airways was due to start a daily service between New Delhi and Varanasi on 26 June.
