Nigerian operator Air Peace is to acquire a pair of Embraer ERJ-145s, expanding the airline’s regional fleet.
The aircraft are being sold through Skyworld Aviation, which identifies the jets as having serial numbers 145379 and 145486.
Both were produced in 2001 and originally delivered to Chautauqua Airlines. They were managed, for several years, through lessor GECAS.
Skyworld says the aircraft will operate under Nigerian registrations 5N-BXG and 5N-BXF with Air Peace, which has a regional ERJ division branded Air Peace Hopper.
It adds that the ERJ-145s will be used to “increase interconnectivity” in the country and the West Africa region, operating to destinations with “little or no service”.
Air Peace disclosed during the Dubai air show that it was increasing its commitment to Embraer E2 regional jets, exercising options on three more E195-E2s.
