A J Walter Aviation has been given the exclusive sales and marketing rights to BAE Systems' surplus Avro RJ and BAe 146 inventory for the next five years. The inventory is currently valued at £36 million and extends to 38,000 line items. Walter is also adding its BAe 146 inventory into the pool. The stock consists of all types of parts and components including proprietary and vendor items, both consumable and rotable. A J Walter's managing director Christopher Whiteside says "Our company has had a long history of supporting British-made aircraft, starting in the 1950s with the Viscount and into the 1970s with the BAC 1-11. We are proud to be able to continue our tradition."
