Albanian Airlines has put its first BAe 146 into service on flights from its Tirana base to Bologna, Frankfurt and Rome. The 15-year-old, ex-Malmo Aviation aircraft has been acquired from the asset management arm of BAE Systems Aircraft Services Group. It will be operated on Albanian's behalf by Hemus Air of Bulgaria, replacing ageing Tupolev Tu-134s.
