The US Federal Aviation Administration is to implement eight airworthiness directives (AD) aimed at reducing engine failures. The first batch of ADs apply to 26,000 Pratt & Whitney JT8Ds and JT9Ds, General Electric GE90s and CF6s, IAE V2500s and CFM International CFM56s. Source: Flight International
