Defence and aerospace company Alliant Techsystems, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, has appointed Scott Meyers vice-president and chief financial officer. He was formerly executive vice-president and chief financial officer at Magnavox Electronic systems, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Meyers replaces Dean Fjelstul, who is to retire after 28 years' service with both Honeywell and Alliant.
