Boeing subsidiary Alteon Training is to relocate a 737-300/400/500 full-flight simulator to Aerolineas Argentinas' Buenos Aires training centre. The simulator will be used to provide training for the Argentinian flag-carrier and Alteon will market spare capacity to other South American airlines.

The CAE-built simulator will be relocated from Alteon's Seattle centre to Buenos Aires in the first quarter and, after updating, will be ready for training in the second quarter. A virtual procedures trainer will also be installed at the site. Alteon says further expansion of the centre is under consideration.

Buenos Aires joins the former Flight Safety Boeing's network of 20 training locations worldwide.
