American Airlines is expanding its codeshare with Qantas to include feeder routes in Australia and New Zealand.
The Fort Worth-based Oneworld alliance carrier will place its code on flights operated by Qantas regional subsidiaries Eastern Australia Airlines and Sunstate Airlines from Auckland and Sydney, US Department of Transportation filings show.
The codeshare will cover flights from Auckland to Napier, Nelson, Palmerston North, Queenstown and Wellington, and from Sydney to Albury, Canberra and Coffs Harbour, the filings show.
American began service to Auckland in June and Sydney in December 2015.
