Commercial aircraft net orders came in at 318 for July 2013 with another 13 swaps and 4 cancellations.
In the highlights of the month, UK low-cost airline EasyJet ordered 100 A320neos and 35 A320-200s while TUIfly ordered 60 737 Max jets. Lessor ILFC placed orders for 25 190s, 25 195s and 15 A321s.
New orders for Airbus totalled 175 while Boeing received 77. Embraer took in 50 while Antonov received 15.
In the narrowbody market, 168 A320 family aircraft were ordered including 103 for the re-engined neo. A total of 66 737s were ordered including 64 for the Max variant. In the widebody market, the orders were for eight 777s, four A350s, three A330s, two 747s and a single 787. The regional aircraft orders included 50 E-jets and 15 An-148s.
Overall, the commercial aircraft order backlog ended July at 12,582, up 157 on the previous month.
