Lockheed Martin Sanders has delivered the first Common Missile Warning System electronic control unit to Marconi Electronic Systems for the British Army's GKN Westland Helicopters WAH-64 Apache programme. The US firm is providing CMWS sets for the self-protection suite against heat-seeking and radio-frequency guided missiles. Sanders will provide 58 CMWS sets, the first of which will be delivered in December 2000.
