Philip Chen will succeed Simon Heale as deputy managing director at Cathay Pacific Airways from mid-March. Heale takes up the position of finance director at Swire Pacific. Stanley Hui will replace Chen as Dragonair's chief executive from 1 February 1997, while Hui's role as chief operating officer of Air Hong Kong will be taken by Kenny Tang from mid-January. Tang is replaced as general manager corporate finance at Cathay Pacific by Martin Cubbon.

Michael Harrington has left his position as general manager of Alpi Eagles to become managing director of Saab Aircraft International.

Louis Chénevert has been named executive vice president operations at Pratt & Whitney, effective 1 January 1997, succeeding Mark Coran, who is to retire.

Paolo Revelli-Beaumont has become general secretary of Aero International (Regional), replacing Francesco Paolo Giobbe, who will lead a new AI(R) legal directorate.

Douglas Port has taken over as senior vice president Europe at Air Canada. He is replaced as vice president sales & product division by Marc Rosenburg, who was previously president and chief executive of Galileo Canada.

Colin Matthews has been appointed managing director of British Airways Engineering.

Andrew Gray has resigned as managing director of Air UK. A replacement has yet to be named.
