AR GROUP HAS signed an agreement with Bombardier Business Aircraft to provide international-procedures training for operators of Canadair Challenger and Global Express business jets. The course will be integrated with crew instruction at the Bombardier Aerospace Training Centre in Montreal, Canada, in July.

The training will be provided by AR Group companies Air Routing International and Air Security International and will cover procedural and security issues related to international corporate flights. Topics include flight planning, overflight and landing permits, high-altitude meteorology, reduced vertical-separation mimima and polar navigation. The course will include briefings on international security issues.

Houston, Texas-based AR Group says that Bombardier is the first maker to offer corporate operators instruction on international procedures and security as part of a crew-training programme. Air Routing handles domestic and international corporate-flight operations, while Air Security provides security support.
