Ariane and Proton boosters carried three communications satellites into orbit in two days last month.

International Launch Services (ILS) launched a Proton K/DM3 booster from Baikonur on 30 March carrying the Intelsat 903 satellite into transfer orbit. The launch was the third by ILS in less than two months and will be followed by another Proton K/DM carrying DirecTV 5.

Arianespace launched an Ariane 44L booster from Kourou on 29 March carrying two Boeing Satellite Systems-built satellites, Astra 3A and JC SAT 8, into transfer orbit.

Russia launched a Molniya M booster from Plesetsk on 1 April carrying a Cosmos military satellite.
