Arrow Air has purchased another Miami-based cargo carrier Air Global International (AGI) and has taken over AGI's wet lease of two Atlas Air Boeing 747-200 freighters. The deal will give Arrow, formerly known as Fine Air, extra capacity in the Latin American air freight markets. The two carriers have already been partnering in these markets since May 2002.
