French company Srebot has managed to achieve the perfect balance between science and creativity with a unique sculpture adorning its stand. The sculpture, designed and made over several months by Youri Srebot, the company's commercial manager for export, comprises two stainless steel figures loosely wrapped with copper coloured metal.
"We are a small company playing on a big companies' playing field," said Srebot. "Therefore we need something to make us stand out and I think the sculpture does that.
"Srebot is a specialist manufacturer of aeronautic and automotive parts including the large rings used in stator fans. Major customers include Snecma and Techspace Aero.
"This is our third visit to the Paris airshow," said Youri. "It gives us the chance to meet potential customers face-to-face as well as speak to the bigger companies in our field."
