Flightglobal's consultancy arm Ascend has once again been crowned appraiser of the year at the Aviation 100 Awards, the fifth time in six years it has been honoured with the award.

The awards gala was held in Dublin last night as part of the Growth Frontiers conference, hosted by Airline Economics.

Ascend was recognised by a voting population of over 10,000 industry peers spread across the airline, banking, leasing, and engine-brokerage sectors.

"We are delighted to again receive this significant endorsement of our services from our peers, customers and wider market," says head of consultancy at Ascend, Rob Morris.

"2015 was another hugely successful year for us at Ascend, with more than 60,000 aviation assets valued for almost 200 different clients by our valuations team. In addition our online valuations system was used to assess and evaluate such assets more than 180,000 times," he adds.

"As demand for our services continues to grow, our team is also expanding along with the scope of valuation and wider advisory services we can offer to the market.”

Ascend provides data, expert insight and risk evaluation through advisory and valuation services that directly impact strategic investments and help to identify opportunities for growth in aviation.
