CAE and Malaysia-based low-fare carrier AirAsia have signed a 10-year training agreement under which the Canadian manufacturer will install and operate a Boeing 737 full-flight simulator, which will be used to train Boeing 737-300/400/500 pilots. AirAsia will be the anchor customer, with additional capacity being sold to third-party customers. The simulator is expected to be installed by the end of 2004 at the airline's six-bay training centre near Kuala Lumpur International airport.
