Assessment Services has undertaken electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests to ensure Thomson Training and Simulation's C2000 family of simulators comply with new European safety standards. Testing, undertaken in the UK at Crawley, includes overall simulator assessment of conducted emissions, radiated emissions, bulk current injection, fast burn transients and electrostatic discharge. Tests have also been conducted on the image generator, visual systems and motion systems to ensure compliance.
