Aviation Technology Group (ATG) has scheduled delivery of the first Javelin Mk10 executive jet for 2008. Deliveries of the military variant, the Mk20, will follow shortly after, says the Englewood, Colorado-based company. The Javelin flight-test programme is accelerating following completion this month of the first flight during which the undercarriage was retracted (Flight International, 7-13 March).

The first conforming aircraft is expected to join the programme at the end of the year. The certification effort will involve six airframes – four flying aircraft and two ground airframes for static and fatigue tests – not including the developmental prototype.
