Aviation Technology Group (ATG) has appointed Action Aviation as its exclusive distributor for the civil version of its two-seat Javelin jet in the Middle East, Africa, India and West Asia. The move coincides with Action Aviation placing a non-refundable deposit for 40 Javelins, valued at around $120 million. Delivery will be made over eight years after certification in around two years.
Action Aviation is also distributor for the Sino Swearingen SJ30 light business jet and MD Helicopters aircraft.
Englewood, Colorado-based ATG froze the design of its Javelin last year and plans to fly the production-conforming version by the fourth quarter.
