Atlantic Coast Airlines (ACA) has reached an "agreement in principle" to acquire 12 Jetstream 41 turbo- props from Aero Inter- national (Regional) (AI(R)), with a book value of $84 million. AI(R) holds no firm orders for the J41, with the last aircraft having been delivered to the Royal Thai Army on 27 November. ACA, a United Express carrier, already operates 28 J41s, and wants the new aircraft between early 1997 and 1999.
