Cargo operator Atlas Air has reached agreement with GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), one of its creditor's and its largest lessor, to restructure its aircraft lease payments. GECAS amended the lease terms on several Boeing 747-200s and 747-400s operated by Atlas subsidiary Polar Air Cargo, and agreed to take back Polar's two 747-100s. Atlas is also negotiating similar arrangements with other creditors and lessors.
