Little surprise to see Avions de Transport Regional (ATR) here at the airshow (W670) - with 42 aircraft in service and 19 operators in Africa and the Middle East, the company sees Dubai 2000 as the perfect place to do business.
ATR is a partnership of Aerospatiale Matra (France) and Alenia Aerospazio (Italy) that markets and supports the ATR family of regional turboprops in the 44 to 72-seat category.
Marketing manager Loredana Tramoutano says: "It's important that we have a presence here at the airshow because we are the largest regional market manufacturers in Africa and the Middle East.
