ATR secured a total of 40 orders for its turboprop family in 2009, compared with 42 the year before.
The EADS-Alenia Aeronautica joint venture's output last year was flat, at 54 aircraft - one fewer than in 2008.
It disclosed the figures during an event in Paris today.
Turnover rose by $100 million to $1.4 billion. "Our target is reached, and this is a growth of 7%," says ATR chief executive Stephane Mayer. "Turnover has stablised at the highest-ever level for ATR."
The airframer's backlog has declined to 136 aircraft, from 169 the year before.
During 2009 the airframer reached the milestone of the 1,000th order since the start of the programme.
