Auckland International Airport has appointed Jason Dale, the chief executive of Equity Partners Asset Management, as its new chief financial officer.

He will report to Auckland Airport chief executive Simon Moutter after taking up his new position in mid-October, the airport operator says in a statement.

Prior to Equity Partners Asset Management, Dale, 39, spent eight years with dairy co-operative Fonterra and worked with telecommunications firm Bellsouth and audit firm KPMG.

"I look forward to welcoming Jason to the leadership team at Auckland Airport. The quality and breadth of his experience will be a great asset to the airport business," says Moutter.
